Welkom bij de cursus Nederlands!
Your employer, MONTA, sponsors a Dutch course through our e-learning platform. This is a great way to learn, using modern technology and methods. You can study at your own pace, whenever it suits you. You have access to the course for 6 months, so you’ll have plenty of time to study, review, and take the online exam. After the exam, you will receive an A1.1 and A1.2 level certificate 🙂
Additionally, we organise online meetings with a teacher via Zoom once a month. Below, you can find the link and the schedule for the upcoming meetings:

📅 Meeting 1: Sunday, 20 September | 12:30–13:30
Try to complete at least 4 modules in the book and on the platform before this meeting.

Try to complete Book 1, including Module 8 and the A1.1 exam, before this meeting.

Important information about your course 🇳🇱
1. Course structure
The course consists of two parts:
- A0–A1 Part 1: Modules 1–8
- A0–A1 Part 2: Modules 9–16
Each module contains approximately 4–5 video lessons, together with exercises and additional learning materials.
After Module 8, you will take the exam for A1.1 After completing all 16 modules, you will take the final exam for A1.2.
2. Access to the platform
You will have access to the Edu-Dutch Academy platform for 6 months, so you have plenty of time to complete the course and review the materials. Please plan to complete approximately one module per week.
3. Continue to the next level
After completing all modules, you may be able to continue with the next level, A1–A2, if your employer enrols you in the next course. If you would like to continue learning Dutch after completing this course, please contact your employer. 😊
4. Completing your lessons ✔️
To move from one lesson to the next, you need to mark the current lesson as “Completed.” Don’t worry – you can always go back to previous lessons to review and practise the material again.
5. Your progress
Please be aware that we are required to report your activity and learning progress on the platform to your employer. We therefore recommend studying regularly and completing the modules step by step.

Visit the platform regularly, practise, and review what you have learned. The more consistently you work on your Dutch, the faster you will see progress! 😊
