- You will arrange a meeting (formal and informal)
- You will arrange meetings with colleagues and friends
- You will join the conversation about holidays, travels, professions, work, etc.
- Share what you did yesterday, last weekend (past tense)
- You will use different tenses and sentence constructions in conversation
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you have basic knowledge of the Dutch language (level A1), can tell in a few simple sentences about yourself, but also about what you have done and what you plan to do. You already understand a little Dutch by ear. To take this course, you should ideally have completed Level A1 or Level 1 and Level 2 at our school.
In this course you will learn:
- How to make an appointment formally and informally
- Talk about different professions and jobs
- Talk about travel, countries and holidays
- Read and understand longer basic texts (A1) and answer questions about them
- Grammar:
- Past tense (VTT perfect tense)
- Past tense (OVT imperfect tense)
- Past tense (VVT)
- The construction of complex sentences and the use of conjunctions
- Building sentences with the word "these"
- Sentence construction with "om te"
- Reflexive pronoun (verbs with zich)
- Separable verbs in all tenses and constructions
